Holly Gove Middle School in Holly Springs, NC was designed with a compact footprint and simple, well organized circulation. One important goal was to make the students feel like they were part of a smaller community. One way we achieved this was to organize the classrooms in a way that each of the four teams per grade level are able to get to the shared parts of the facility without walking past any other team. Way finding is aided by interior color selection and by providing views from corridors and stairways. |
