Bill is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture in 1975, and has attended continuing education seminars at Harvard University focusing on courthouse design and emergency department design. He was registered in North Carolina in 1981, and received LEED Acreditation in 2007. Bill joined the firm in 1975 and was named president in 1988. He has extensive experience in the design of healthcare, educational and governental buildings. He served on the board of directors of the North Carolina Chapter AIA in 2000.
